Solarstone (also Solar Stone) is British keyboardist, trance music artist and producer, Rich Mowatt.

Formed in Birmingham in 1997, the group's original line-up included ex-pirate radio DJ Andy Bury and Sam Tierney. The trio were previously named 'The Space Kittens'. In 1997, Sam Tierney left the group. In 2006, growing differences in musical taste and direction resulted in Andy Bury leaving the group.

Although best known for producing melodic trance and Balearic house, Solarstone's output also embraces progressive house and chill-out music.
